ARICA, Chile (Monday, June 25, 2007) – The Rip Curl Pro Search Chile, stop No. 4 of 10 on the Foster’s ASP World Tour, will resume with the last two heats of Round 2 before moving into Round 3 this morning.
Twenty-five minute heats will commence in six foot (one metre) waves at Ex Isla Alacran at 7:30am local time.
"We woke this morning to clean, offshore conditions and we're looking to get things underway at 7:30am," ASP Head Judge Perry Hatchett said. "We have two heats left in Round 2 and then we're going to try to run as many heats of Round 3 as we can. To do this, we're going to try to drop the heats down to 25 minutes in order to fit in as many heats as possible. We're in a position here at this spot where we don't know if the sea breeze is going to come up before 11am or before 1pm and we don't want to be in a position where we have to send guys out in the onshore afternoon conditions."
