ARICA, Chile (Tuesday, June 26, 2007) – Rip Curl Pro Search Chile competition will hit the water at 7:25am local time today. The final two heats of Round 3 will feature first before event organizers jump into Round 4 which they hope to wrap up today.

Waves are five to six foot (two metres) and Foster’s ASP World Tour No. 4 Damien Hobgood (USA) will go up against South African rookie Royden Bryson in the first heat of the day.

According to official Rip Curl Pro Search Chile surf forecaster Ben Matson of swellnet.com.au: “Easing swells and early light winds will create excellent small to medium-sized surf for the Rip Curl Pro Search at Ex-Isla Alacran.”
