Step 5: "Filling EPS Foam". For good lamination you should fill the foam with Epoxy and cavasill or a ready mix wall spackle like the one in the illustration below. I chose to use the wall spackle because it is easy to use, dries fast and is a nice white color.

A good squeegee is important for filling and lamination. The one in the picture below is a Tharco rubber squeegee. I have used it for years with great results.
EPS Epoxy Surfboard Ding Repair - Squeegee
Use a small amount of the spackle and press it into the foam using the corner of the squeegee. This stuff is easy to work with and fills easily for a nice smooth surface. Allow the filler to dry completely and lightly sand it flush.
