WANNING, Hainan Island/China (Wednesday, November 28, 2012) – The 2012 CITIC PACIFIC ShenZhou Peninsula Pro hosted by Wanning has been called back on at Riyuewan today with fun 2 – 3 foot (1 – 1.5 meter) waves on offer. Just 24 surfers remain in the hunt for the ASP World Longboard Title and as the competition moves on, expect the action to intensify.
“We’re back on up the beach and it’s looking good,” Contest Director Dane Jordan said. “We’re crowning an ASP World Longboard Champion at this event and the guys are fired up, it’s great to see. Today is the peak of the swell and I’d love to run Rounds 3, 4 and 5, but we will keep assessing conditions throughout the day.”
