HONOLULU, Oahu/Hawaii (Monday, Oct. 29, 2012) - The holding period for the $95,000 HIC Pro presented by Vans officially starts today, but organizers will wait until the next round of swell later in the week for competition to commence. Waves at Sunset Beach are only in the waist- to head-high range today.
The HIC Pro holding period extends through to November 10 and the event requires just four full days of competition. The heat draw for HIC Pro can be found here on the aspworldtour schedule.

The HIC Pro is a 4-star men’s ASP rated event, and the final star-rated event of the year. It is a local qualifier for the $1M Vans Triple Crown of Surfing that commences November 12 through December 20.
