KERAMAS, Bali/Indonesia (Thursday, October 11, 2012) – The 2012 Oakley ASP World Junior Championships Bali contest officials have made the call to put the Men’s Round 2 on starting at 6:30am. The wind, tide and swell have all come together and produced classic 4 to 6 foot (2 meter) waves. The Women’s Final and Men’s Round 3 are also on stand-by as there is a good chance they could run if the conditions stay favourable, we could be crowning an ASP World Junior Champion today.
“It’s four to six foot out there,” Beau Emerton, Oakley ASP World Junior Championships Contest Director said. “We could crown the women’s ASP World Junior Champion today, or we could just go into Round 3. The winds are forecast to be light all day and the surf is expected to rise so we’re in for a great day.”
The Oakley ASP World Junior Championships Bali will run from October 6 – 17. For LIVE webcast, event videos and more check www.oakleyprojunior.com.
