Wildcard Dane Reynolds (USA), 27, will take on Joel Parkinson (AUS), 31, and Bede Durbidge (AUS), 29, in Round 1 of the Quiksilver Pro France.
LA GRAVIERE, Hossegor/France (Friday, September 28, 2012) – The Quiksilver Pro France has been called on this morning with Round 1 commencing in clean three-to-five (1 – 1.5 metre) waves at the primary site of La Graviere at 8:45am.
Event No. 7 of 10 on the 2012 ASP World Championship Tour, the Quiksilver Pro France resumes this season’s battle for the ASP World Title with Mick Fanning (AUS), 31, currently leading the field.
“We have clean conditions available this morning and we’ll be commencing Round 1 at :45am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge said, “We’ll monitor conditions closely, but we anticipate completing the whole of Round 1 today. Good luck to all our competitors.”
Joining the ASP Top 34 in France today will be former elite tour campaigner Dane Reynolds (USA), 27, and trials winner Wiggolly Dantas (BRA), 22, as wildcards.
Up first this morning will be Taj Burrow (AUS), 34, Kai Otton (AUS), 32, and Taylor Knox (USA), 41, in the opening heat of Round 1.
