WANNING, Hainan Island/China (Saturday, November 24, 2012) – The SWATCH Girls Pro China 2012 hosted by Wanning has called a lay-day for the second day in a row. Signs of the new swell are starting to appear, but it’s still too small to put the competition on. The ASP Women’s World Longboard Champion will be crowned tomorrow as it’s the last day in the event waiting period
“There’s just not enough surf to run today,” Contest Director Dane Jordan said. “The new swell is starting to arrive, but we’re anticipating more of it to show up tomorrow. We will be finishing the event tomorrow and crowning an ASP Women’s World Longboard Champion.”
