SUNSET BEACH, Oahu/Hawaii (Tuesday, November 27, 2012) – The VANS World Cup of Surfing is officially underway at Sunset Beach today, with waves in the 5-7 foot range. The second jewel of the $1M VANS Triple Crown of Surfing hydrated by vitaminwater, the VANS World Cup will require four full days of competition between now and December 6.
Winner of the first jewel – the REEF Hawaiian Pro – last week was Sebastian Zietz (HAW). Zietz is seeded through to the round of 64 and will surf on Day 3 of the competition.
