RAINBOW BAY, Queensland/Australia (Tuesday, March 5, 2013) – The Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast presented by Land Rover, Event No. 1 of 10 on the 2013 ASP World Championship Tour (WCT), has been placed on hold this morning until 9:30am with the potential to commence competition as early as 10am.
When men’s competition commences, up first will be defending Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast champion Taj Burrow (AUS), 34, against Bede Durbidge (AUS), 30, and Raoni Monteiro (BRA), 30, in Heat 1 of Round 1.
Event organizers will reconvene at 9:30am to assess conditions for a possible 10am start.
