Hawaii’s Tatiana Weston-Webb will surf in Round 3 of the Women’s HD World Junior Championships today.
JOAQUINA BEACH, Florianopolis/BRA (Thursday, October 31, 2013) - The 2013 HD World Junior Championships presented by Devassa is back ON in two-to-four foot (1 metre) waves at Joaquina Beach and today’s proceedings will see Women’s Rounds 2 and 3 take to the water beginning at 8am local time with Men’s Round 3 currently on standby.
The 2013 HD World Junior Championships offers up the prestigious ASP World Junior Championship Title and crucial seed points in to ASP Prime rated events for the Men’s top four finishers.
“We have some fun surf on offer this morning and we’ll start with Women’s competition today,” Luli Pereira, ASP World Junior Championships Head Judge said. “After we finish Round 3, we’ll make another call for a potential start to Men’s Round 3.”
